  • The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
  • High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
  • The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
  • The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

Song of the Rotary Club of Muthaiga.

Tune based on 'JAMAICA FAIRWELL (by Harry Belafonte)

Down the way where the nights are gay
And the sun shines daily on the Mu..thai..ga tree
We took a trip on a Fellowship
And when we reached Mu..tha..iga
We made a plea.

And I'm glad to say we're on our way
Our hearts are bound our heads are tur..ning aro..und
We hope to bring a little hope to all in town

I must de..clare my heart is there
For the food with friends and fel..low..ship
We thank thee lord for the Ro..ta..ry
And our thoughts that see to the others needs

And I'm glad to say we're on our way
Our hearts are bound our heads are tur..ning aro..und
We hope to bring a little hope to all in town.
